Location

Dingle is located in the heart of a Gaeltaech area and is listed on maps and signposted as An Daingean on N86.

On arrival in An Daingean — Dingle — from the Tralee Road, you will notice an Esso gas station on the right hand side. Directly in front of you is a Roundabout. Make a Left turn at the Roundabout, then take the first Right turn onto Strand Street. At Murphy's Pub turn Left. You will see the Bay Watch B&B sign in front of you.

If you are coming into An Daingean via the Conor Pass, on arrival into An Daingean — Dingle — you will be at the foot of Main Street. Turn left, then immediately turn right. At the Roundabout, take the second left turn, then take the first Right turn onto Strand Street. At Murphy's Pub turn Left. You will see the Bay Watch B&B sign in front of you.

Activities

In Dingle Town there is a wide selection of gourmet restaurants suitable for every price range. There are 62 pubs, most with traditional Irish music, and many offering "pub grub". Several pubs also feature set dancing.

During the day you can visit the many beautiful little craft stores, visit Dingle Ocean World, swim with Fungie the Dolphin and swim or walk the abundance of safe, sandy beaches.

You could also retrace the steps of the Hollywood stars who traversed the streets of Dingle during the making of "Ryan's Daughter", a David Lean production and Oscar winning film. View the same scenery as Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman when they were here for the filming of "Far and Away"

You could also rent a bike and explore this magnificent Dingle Peninsula with its many archelogical sites and breathtaking scenery at every turn.
